Summit of Ministers

A Summit of Ministers responsible for the development of HR policy and vocational education in their countries took place on 23-24 August within the framework of the WorldSkills Conference 2019 at the site of the 45th international WorldSkills competition in Kazan. This was the second such summit in the history of WorldSkills.

The discussions held during the summit were based on two key research articles drawn up by Russian representatives: New WorldSkills Opportunities for the Comparable Assessment of Results in Professional Education — a project of WorldSkills Russia and the NRU HSE, and Talent Development in Response to Future Economy Challenges and the HR Gap — The Global Initiative Mission: Talent — a project of WorldSkills Russia, Rosatom and Boston Consulting Group. 

The Minister of Education of the Russian Federation provided a draft statement from the summit's participants to summarise its results.
