WorldSkills Russia has also designed such unique competitions as WorldSkills Hi-Tech, WorldSkills Juniors, Skills of the Wise, industry competitions as well as competitions between universities- these products are unique to Russia and can help introduce candidate training systems at both the national and international levels.

In 2020, in response to the challenges of the pandemic WorldSkills Russia for the first time in the world held competitions and training seminars in a combined remote-in-person format which has since been adopted by other projects. This has not only made it possible to continue international cooperation, but has also expanded the number of foreign partners interested in promoting the WorldSkills movement in their countries.
