After learning basics of the chosen skill, participants complete practical tasks and take part in special games designed to ease the learning process. The educational training is organized for juniors from 12 to 16 years old from 7 countries: Hungary, Poland, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Malaysia and Russia.
"WorldSkills Russia Juniors has extensive experience in organizing this kind of training. The peculiarity of this International Skills Camp for Juniors is that English is the medium of instruction for the first time, and the online format allows us to attract participants from anywhere in the world. Juniors are able not only to learn the basics of their chosen skill, but also to practice their English with juniors from other countries", noted Aliya Lutfullina, Head of the Division for Junior Skills Development of International Department, WorldSkills Russia.
“Skills Camp for Juniors is a new learning format for children aimed at cross-country cooperation. A child who learns about professions and gets some skills training at school age in an international environment will be able to develop and offer a startup not just at a national, but at an international level, which is especially important for the creative and IT industries", said Alina Doskanova, Deputy Director General for International Relations of WorldSkills Russia, Board Member of WorldSkills Asia.
At the end of the training, junior participants will receive certificates of participation in the skills camp.
